From See Two See: July 25, 2019

A lovely day exploring around Logan Lake.  We hadn’t set out to go to Logan Lake but rather ended up here as we divided up the trip from Surrey to home. I think that we added in an extra day as we didn’t like the thought that we were on the way home.  We drove down back roads and ended up at Lac le Jeune.

The crystal clear water of Lac le Jeune.

If you would like to buy a cabin as well as a share of the resort and any money that is made at the motel on the site you only need $160,00.  We only saw a few homes there and what we liked was a little box on the side of the road , identified as the library. There was even a bench so one could sit and read.

What a marvelous surprise to see this in the middle of nowhere.

We ended up in Kamloops at a Dairy Queen. Greg has been talking about Dairy Queen for several days and now the urge has passed. My blizzard was good (only had a small one).

Saw some road signs that fascinated us. One on Highway 1 said “Do not stop when raining”.  Is the road slippery when wet and you might be run into? The road sign makers are concerned you might get wet if you need to get out of your car? The other was at the end of road construction site.  The sign said Thank you.  The end of construction. This is the only province in which we have seen this.  Not sure anyone heard our “your welcome”.

Logan Lake

A few more stops along the way and we headed back to our RV. I went on a short walk around the lake (it isnt very big). The path was maintained well; one part through the trees and the other on the developed side of the lake.  A nice evening enjoying the breeze, sunshine and geese eating at our door.

What Buuud (our truck) wants to be when he grows up.
