It just does not get much better. Woke up to sunny skies, no wind and very little smoke.
No buffeting winds and minimal traffic. It’s amazing how much distance can be put behind you at 140kmph (legaly… almost) which isn’t that much over the limit.
In no time at all the three of us were at the Idaho boarder.
As a bonus all the extra electronic ‘stuff’ worked. Helmet to helmet Bluetooth communications, music, cell phone, GPS, it all worked, everything talked everything else the way it should.
We did get blasted by bugs, thousands of maybe millions of bugs. There is so much bug stuff on the front of the motorcycles, we think we should be invisible to radar.
Temperature hit 35 degrees so we were very thankful that we were wearing hydropacks. Of course, the water wasn’t quite enough and we had to supplement the water with various forms and flavours of ice cream.
At the risk of turning this adventure log into a food blog I feel compelled to share another unexpectedly good eating experience we stumbled upon. We found a place here in North Logan called Fredrico’s. We almost didn’t go in because of the lineup. Anyhow, the short version, the place is worth the stop.
